Our motto for the year will be "God Is Love." Please invite any youth from 6th to 12th grade.
Below is the schedule for 2009-2010. Plans may be subject to change for additional events, or to accommodate the needs of the youth group. This is my first year as the Youth Leader;
I have been involved with Boy Scout Troop 61, over the last 6 years.
I look forward to working with the youth; I hope this year will be a blessing to all of us.

2009-2010 SCHEDULE
Here is the schedule for this year. We will have additional events as the year goes on. The times/dates may need to change to accommodate the group, but I will try to adhere to this schedule. Please pass this schedule on to anyone in our church/and or friends from grades 6th through 12th grade. I hope to see some new faces this year! Each meeting there will be planned activities with brief discussion of plan upcoming events.
2010 CURRENT/UPCOMING EVENTS
April: Saturday/Sunday 4/24-4/25/10- (LOCK IN)
Fellowship Hall starts after Saturday night church, ends after Sunday morning church service.
May: Saturday 5/?/10
Possible service project/Church Clean up
May: Sunday 5/23/10- 2:00-6:00
Family Picnic at Skrobot House (we will provide hot dogs/hamburgers) every one to bring a side dish. Present church Banner to Pastor.

Present Banner during Sunday church service to the congregation. If at all possible must attend the service.

2009 ~ 2010 PAST EVENTS
September: Sunday (9/27/09) 6:30-8:00 Fellowship Hall
Getting to know you-(Parent Meeting) Write a few things about yourself and attach a picture/due back at October meeting. Discuss pancake breakfast. Go over paper work required for the youth group. Talk about ideas for the year. Plan to have a craft table for spring craft fair (ideas). Hand out Journals. Hand out youth group tee shirt. BRING a dessert to share.
October: Friday night Movie Night-(10/16/09)-Fellowship Hall 7:00-10:00 Change in Date! Now 10/16/09
Invite a friend night, Pizza party included. The one who can bring the most friends will win a prize. You must call with amount of friends 1 WEEK 10/4/09 prior in order to place order for PIZZA. (Everyone bring a favorite SNACK to share!)
October: Sunday (10/11/09) Fellowship Hall 6:30-8:00-Meeting to discuss Pancake Breakfast. Make posters to hang in Church for Pancake Breakfast. Start working on Banner Project for Church Sanctuary. Write in Journals. Turn in your getting to know page.

November: Pancake Breakfast: Saturday (11/14/09)
Pancake Breakfast Fellowship Hall 8:00-11:00am-You will need to be at the hall to set up and start cooking at 7:00am. Wear your tee shirt
November: Sunday (11/22/09) Fellowship Hall 6:30-8:00
Discuss craft/pick nursing home for December activity, discuss who will make arrangements. Discuss Church Christmas Cards. Work on Banner. Make Posters for Baby Sitting fundraiser. Write in Journals. Sign up for baby sitting fundraiser 12/11/09. Change in Date! Now 11/22.
December: Friday (12/4/09) 7:00-10:00PM- Fund Raiser Baby Sitting Fellowship Hall
So parents can Christmas Shop. Wear your tee shirt.
December: Sunday (12/6/09) Christmas Program at church 7pm.
There are 6 reading parts during the concert for the youth. I need 3 more volunteers!
December: Sunday (12/13/09) Family Night. We will deliver Christmas cards during the festivities. There will be a box wrapped in Christmas paper for pleeple to put there Christmas cards in. It will cost .25 per card to be delvered. Cards will be accepted from 11/14 through 1/2/6/09!
January: Sunday 1/3/10-Fellowship Hall- 6:30-8:00pm
Finalize Rally Plans. Write in Journal. Work on Banner. Make “HUG” clips.
January: Friday, Saturday, And Sunday 1/8/10-1/10/10: Youth Rally Ocean City Maryland.
Bring your tee shirt to wear on Saturday. ***PLAN to leave at 1:30pm**
February: Friday 2/12/10 7:00-10:00pm- Fund Raiser Baby Sitting Fellowship Hall
So parents can go out to Dinner for Valentines Day. Wear your tee shirt.
February: Saturday 2/20/10 and Sunday 2/21/10 Church Service
Report back from Rally. Must plan to attend both church services, for report back.
February: Sunday 2/28/10 Fellowship Hall 6:30-8:00pm
Set plans for Easter Eggs, discuss other options of candy to make. Work on church banner. Write in Journals. Make posters for sale of Easter eggs.
March: Sunday 3/7/10 Fellowship Hall 6:30-8:00-Dicuss May service project and Lock In for April. Discuss Family Picnic for June. Work on church banner. Write in Journals. Design next year’s tee shirt. Make posters for Easter egg sale. Sign up to sell eggs/sign up to make eggs, must do at least one of the dates listed.
March: Kitchen- Make Easter Candy
Saturday 3/20/10 and Sunday 3/21/10. Saturday 9:00-1:00, Sunday 1:00-4:00. (Easter 4/4/10)
